Magnetic Therapy
It has been known for a long time that magnetic fields have an effect on biological systems. If you
expose the whole or parts of the body to a magnetic field, the magnetic field lines will completely
permeate whatever is in its path. In doing so, the field lines encounter sodium and potassium ions
which are necessary for the cell to function. The ions are carriers of charge and are influenced
by magnetic fields. When the magnetic field enters the cell it changes the electro potential on the
marginal surface of the cell and the exchange of ions between the interior and exterior cell wall
is increased. This action improves the oxygen utilisation of the cell and accelerates the body's
own natural healing process.
